Hello Paula and ALL subscribers,

DELETE anything that comes through with this subject line. There are virus
hackers who are always collecting e-mail addresses from rootsweb mailing
lists. I received several e-mails over the past 2 weeks with attached files
and appeared to come from Rootsweb.

The latest one came through at 12:30 a.m. Feb. 3rd, with an attachment that
is "Supposed" to protect you from the KLEZ worm virus. It had a
Rootsweb-Review "From" address, but it is a virus hacker. I forward all
of these to for them to deal with.

Because I have AOL, I have the ability to open them and read the "headers"
at the bottom of the e-mail without infecting myself, but many of you may
not have that ability if you have an e-mail program that automatically opens
& downloads attached files when you open your e-mail.

The headers show where these e-mails are actually originating from so
rootsweb can track them and contact the ISP's of these hackers.

Rootsweb mailing lists DO NOT send any file attachemtn to ANYONE so please
DELETE these as you get them. Also please note that our list mail ALWAYS
comes through with the prepend [OHCEN] at the beginning of the subject line.

Heads up everyone, and be careful!
