Hello Pat,
I didn't see a reply to your request. Henry is a 7 yr. old child living with
another Kneese child in another household. Here is the census reading:
Census enumerated on Aug. 1, 1850
Christian Pletcher, 35, Laborer, value of real estate: $400, born Germany
Henrietta, 31, b. Germany
Henry Kneese, 7, b. Md., attends school
George Kneese, 4, b. Md.
John Pletcher, 2, b. OH
William Pletcher, 3/12ths, b. OH
NOTE: It looks like there is a dot over the 3rd letter so the name could be
spelled Kniese.
The 1850 index is not showing any other results in Ohio for the KNEESE or
KNIESE surname.
