Well, not much more luck. I went page by page thru Franklin Co, Jefferson
Twp. and did not see a Lindsey. Maybe they just missed them.

I hope this is not too confusing to you because this family has been a total
confusion to me, My goal is to locate Elijah’s parents and his spouses
maiden name which means going prior to 1850. But where? I don't have access
to VA or PA census records. Was Elijah still alive in 1870 ? If so where was
he? Eiljah born about 1820, his wife about 1856. Was Elijah married twice?

family named Looker. Elijah married Mary Jane Looker. Was she from this
same Looker family?

Walnut Hill Church and Cemetery have an Elijah and Mary Jane Lindsay buried
there
In 1850 and 1860 the family lived next door to Charlie Altman. There is
mention of family Rohn and Kleinlein
