I found this in the Oh lookup archives. Do you think you can find out
whether there is more information ? The census taker misspelled Reeb so
many different ways. That is why I have had so much trouble finding
information on my Reeb -ancestors.

I checked the soundex at the National Archives Center today for
your REEB...no Benno or other similar spelling in OH - could he
be in LA/MS by then? I found his parents just as you said:

Butler Co - Milford Twp ED23 Sheet 6 Line 95

Michael Rieb born Dec1820 Germany age 79
Wife - Matilda age 55 born Oct1844 Germany

This was only a lookup for soundex code R100 - I didn't get
around to R300 (Reed)..maybe next week.
