Thanks Marilyn for your reply. You have been quite a help to me over
the years for requests. Your help is much appreciated. I have been
trying to find my 3 greats grandparents George Funk b. ca. 1793
Maryland and Ellenon/Ellen Pool Funk born 1788. I found Ellen Funk in
the 1860 Warren County Census living with daughter Catherine Crook and
husband John Crook. This would indicate maybe George Funk had passed
away. I found the George Funk family in the 1830 Warren County Census
when they first arrived in Warren County Ohio in the 1830 and have
subsquently followed a son of George and Ellen, George b. 1826 Maryland
which is my GG Grandfather. I have not had access to the 1840 Warren
County Census to see if there was a George or Ellen Funk, or I have
not looked for Ellen Funk in the 1850 Census maybe living alone or
with some one else . I know that Franklin township, Warren County was
a part of Butler County, Ohio at one time and that the Funk family
were found in Lemon twnship, Butler County later on. Any help
locating Ellen Funk in 1850 or locating the family in the 1840 census
may help. Thank you for getting back to me.
