I am looking for surname ESLAIR in 1880 or 1870 Ohio census. My grandfather, Adolph SCHAEFFER, was born in Orville OH 16JUL1877. Adolph's father's surname was reported to be ESLAIR. Adolph's mother's maiden name was Johanna (called Anna) Christina SCHOPF (b28JUL1854, d5APR1945). Her parents were Jacob Frederick Schopf (b26APR1811, d12JUL1881) and Johanna Regina SCHWARZ (b10MAR1811, d14APR1876 or 1877). All SCHOPFS were born in Hermindinger, Wittenberg, Germany. According to ItalianGen Web page Anna married Frank SCHAEFFER on 3APR1877 in NYC. I had posted an ESLAIR query several years ago, but received no response. Trying once again. Thank you for any information.
