Dear Rick,

The 36th Muster and Honor Roll also appear in Volume 3 (pages 663 and 776)
of the 8 Volume set on our site (Volumes 1,2,7 missing):

33

76

Would you be interested scanning the pamphlet and posting the page images on
our site? We could use the transcribed text you're produced as a searchable
index for the pages and set it all up like the other "books" on our site so
that it is searched along with everything else.

It's really wonderful work that you've done. Thanks.

Several years ago, I purchased on eBay, a pamphlet titled "Roster,
Survivors, 36th Ohio Infantry, 1908." The pamphlet was prepared by Jewett
Palmer of Marietta.

I have now transcribed the pamphlet. You will find that transcription here:
http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/s/c/h/Richard-M-Schoen/FILE/0001p
age.html. I also created a map of they places listed in the pamphlet. You
will find the map here:
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&oe=UTF8&start=0&num=200&t=p&msa
=0&msid=116469245370386718659.0004562aa945ff47fa4d7&ll=44.621754,-86.44043&s
pn=18.22741,39.462891&z=5. If you click on any of the placemarks (there are
two pages of them), you will see a list of the men who were residing in that
location in 1908.

You will find a history of the 36th OVI here:
http://www.itd.nps.gov/cwss/index.html.

Please feel free to contact me with questions, comments, or corrections to
the transcription or the map.
