Subject: Families CULLITON and BURNS and WALSH

Greetings to all.
My family CULLITON-FURLONG came to Cleveland about 1858. They came
Ireland>Champlain, Clinton County, New York> Ravenna, Ohio> Cleveland . Lived
on the near West Side until the 1940's . Many were railroaders. One John P
Culliton was a city Councilman about 1896.
My family BURNS-HOGAN came to Cleveland about 1858, They came
Ireland>Troy, New York>Cleveland. Michael Burns (1812-1902) was a stone
cutter-mason. They had 4 children alive in 1902 Mrs William S. Smith, Mrs
Paul Kehoe and Mrs John Culliton and ??
My wife's family WALSH came to Cleveland about 1857 and settled on W
30th near Jay ( old Jersey St) Michael WALSH and Julia CASHIN had 8 kids all
born Ire.
James WALSH married Catherine Kitty MAHONEY no children
Richard WALSH married Mary CLEARY who apparently died in Ireland. His
grandsons included Catholic priests Richard Bud WALSH ( St John's and St
Ann's) and James WALSH ( St Mary Chardon).
Bridget and Margaret WALSH unmarried had a rooming house on Bridge for 40+
yrs
Ton WALSH married Mary MYLER only son Thomas was a priest
Pat WALSH ships carpenter married Mary Anne BURKE
Michael WALSH, ships carpenter married Bridget FITZGERALD
Mary WALSH married Bart SHINE probably in Ireland, lived in Niles Ohio later
Cleve.
