Hi everyone,
I have a nice picture of a pillow sham, pieces were given to guests
mostly family at the wedding shower of Mary FitzPatrick and Robt. Ewing.
Guests were asked to embroider their names on it. The sham was then put
together for the wedding. The area the wedding was held was Euclid/South
Euclid. The names are the following
Mayme Fitzpatrick, M. Kelly, Kittie Brady, J. Nolan, J Sharkey, Margaret
Lennon, R. Mooney, Margaret Dowling, Rose Sweeney, K Keegan, Nellie
Griffin, Nellie Brennan, Margaret Hogan, J Sullivan, May Power, Ida
Ferguson, May Murphy, Ella Murphy, Mrs.M. Murphy, Mrs. Annie Murphy, M
Carroll & M. Purcell. Some of those that were married into these
families were the Roubolts, Weisbarts, Goulds, Dressher, Devoraks, &
Cormieas. Although this wedding was held June 3, 1903 and most of the
guests were from nearby Rose Sweeney who's father was a Cleveland Police
officer, the Roubolts, Goulds, and Weisbarts were all from around Lorain
Ave. If anyone has an interest in any of these names please let me know.
Thanks, Cindy
