Hi Group,
I sent for the death certificate for Margaret CALLAHAN/CALLAGHAN and
found her maiden name listed as FOLEY. Margaret was wife of Wm. listed
as a Horse Collar Maker in the 1890 City Directory. 1880 census reveal
they had three children Timothy, James, and Nettie(Ellinore) and
Margaret's 1908 will reveals there was also a Wm. born after 1880. The
family lived on Quincey ave. Somehow she is tied in with several other
members of our family as far back as 1856. These families are the
Michael SWEENEY family and the Joseph NOLAN family both of Cleveland and
later Euclid. Daughter Nettie went on to marry George HARBAUGH and James
CALLAHAN married a woman with the surname DOWLING and they resided in
Ashtabula in 1900. I'd love to hear from anyone with these same surnames
in their family tree. Take care, Cindy
