To the person requesting info from Eleanor DeWitt on the marriage of Patrick
Patton:

While I was on a bus tour recently to Ellis Island I noticed a ship manifest
from 1906 in a glass display case by the information desk. Reading down
the passenger list I noticed a Michael O'Malley. His destination was the
home of his brother, Patrick Patten, 15 Clinton Place, Cleveland. I wrote
down all the details as I have O'Malley descendents. The ship left the
port of Queenstown (this was list #7). I wrote down the date of May 9, 1906
and am not sure if this is the date of departure or arrival at Ellis Island,
N.Y. His age was 25, he was single and a laborer. His number was 50732.
The ship was the SS Caronia. He came from Westport, Ireland and was of
Irish descent. The cost was $10.

I thought it rather strange that it gave Patrick Patten as his brother but
Michael's last name was O'Malley. I thought at the time it might have been
his
brother-in-law.

When I mentioned this to a cousin she told me her mother, my aunt, grew up
on Clinton Place.

Right after Patrick Patten's name there were two words that I had trouble
deciphering. It looked like Mesvil Mono.

Just thought I would pass this on. Probably a long shot.
