Mary,
Glad to hear the Cleveland Irish are out there. First of all want to thank
everyone who responded. I feel like I've just heard from neighbors of my
husband's family.
Have not pinpointed the Ireland origin of CORCORAN. Kind of zeroing in on
Co. Waterford. Looking for a Nicholas Corcoran whose son John b 1852
immigrated to Cleveland in 1881. John had a brother Peter who came to Cleve
1880 & lived on Warner Rd in Holy Name Parish.
Last June Jim & I drove around Kilmeena Parish in Mayo more than once. Jim
golfed at Clew Bay Golf Course. Are you familiar with the area & are your
Berrys of the Berry Funeral Home family?
Carolyn Corcoran
