Hi,
In the documenting of the DELLEFIELD family I posted queries all over the
web. I received a telepone call from a Naval Investigator looking for a
particular family member. It turns out that her kid brother was lost during
the war. They found the wreckage of his plane and remains. Currently they
are working with one another documenting the remains thru DNA testing.
Details are pretty much on hold right now until verification of identity is
established. It made me feel really good that some 50-60 years later they
are still treating these things with care and respect.
