The Plain Dealer November 12, 2001 has a front-page article on the
"Indian Wars veteran Michael Corcoran . . .was remembered
yesterday as a hero" whose grave was adorned with a new
white granite Medal of Honor stone. About 80 people including
25 Corcoran descendants honored him at Calvary Cemetery.
