Denise:
Those LYNCH folks from New York wouldn't happen to have any connections to
the LOWERY family from New York by any chance? I think my Lowerys were from
around Buffalo but I'd have to recheck. Also have several KANE and CAIN
variations from Cuyahoga County but only one KENNEDY as I recall.

Lilly.... I've been here lurking.... LOL... and if you might remember, I was
moving to SE Florida. That is complete and I have been working here also...
well, creating new work... and organizing my genealogy files. I haven't
done any REAL work on them but have attended one conference with Hank Jones.
He wrote the Psychic Roots books and books on the Palatines. There is
another genealogy conference that will occur in March in Fort Myers with
Sharon DeBartolo Carmack that I may attend. It's only $35 and she is always
wonderful. I saw Sharon in Fort Wayne and her lecture on our immigrants
coming through Ellis Island was very moving... you got a real sense of how
it
was. Just hearbreaking that our family members ever had to go through
that....
But I should be back at work soon. Let me know what you have found out. I
did begin doing a little writing about my Lynch group in Cleveland out of
the
work that you have done and information you have found for me. Nothing
anywhere near publishing, but at least it is a progress. And the site you
gave me for Cleveland research was fantastic. What a real insight into
Cleveland and the Irish community. Thanks so much for that.
Have I ever asked you if you had any Kennedy connections there? My James
Peter Lynch, b. 1858 NY, married a Lucy Kennedy, whose mother was Bridget
Kennedy (believe Bridget's maiden name was Kane or Keane or some derivation
of that). James Peter is my great grandfather.... Lucy Maude Kennedy Lynch
my great grandmother.
Anything you can kind out about them and any connection to the Lynches while
in Cleveland would be a major breakthrough.
THanks.....
Denise
