Anybody searching McDERMOTT in Cleveland or Iowa?

We've got a McDermott/Scanlon connection in Cleveland -- and just found a McDermott/KING connection in Iowa, stemming from County Mayo, where our KING family originated.

Peter J. McDermott, born 1868, in Iowa is the son of John McDermott born 1835 Westport, Mayo, Ireland and Ellen King born 16 Aug 1836.

Peter J. McDermott, born ? died Oct 1941 married Kathleen Scanlon born ? died 1953. Their 3rd child was born in 1898 -- so maybe their birthdates might be 1865 - 1875.

(and Kathleen Scanlon is a descendent from the Gallagher/Hunter side of the family; and HUNTER married KING).

Surely would be nice to find a connection!
