Thanks Karen! Ours is a very elusive line. I know that many of the Irish
came to Pa, then to Cleveland from Co. Mayo. We have only a marriage record
for my G-grandfathers brother (James McGovern m Anna Clifford in Iowa) ,
where James notes he was born in Co Mayo. Other records simply say Ireland
as a place of birth.
