Thanks for the note. My family Walsh/Welsh/Welsch all lived around St
Pats
They are all born Ireland unless noted and kids all born in Cleveland.
They started about 1855 on Jersey, now West 30th. later they are found on
Carroll, Bridge, Clinton and Jay between W 30 and w 25th and Lorain and
Franklin. And Hicks now W 23rd until the public housing project took it .

Michael Walsh 1797-abt1865 and Julia Cashin 1798-1872 had following kids
James 1826-1875 married Catherine Kitty Mahoney no kids
Richard J. Walsh 1831-1898 married Mary Cleary who probably died in Ireland,
kids Pat, Michael, Mary, and Thomas arrived later abt 1865
Bridget and Margaret Walsh never married and had a rooming house on Bridge
Ave
Thomas Walsh 1832-1897 married Mary Myler, only child Tom a Catholic priest
Mary Walsh 1834-1914 marrried Bart Shine 5 kids lived in Youngstown for a few
years and then to Clinton Ave
Pat Walsh 1837-1910 married Mary Ann Burke, born KY, and had kids Mary,
Frank, Nellie, Ed, William and James
Mike Walsh 1838-1893 married Bridget Fitzgerald and had kids Richard, John,
Mary, Frances and Nellie
Best known of the family are Msgr Richard "Bud" Walsh 1901-1984 last
parish St Ann Cleve Hts and Fr Jim Walsh 1905-1969 last parish St Mary,
Chardon.
