We've just discovered information about my first cousin/2x-removed, and I'm
intrigued by his name.

Manus T. Sammon.

I hadn't seen MANUS before -- is it a common name? Or a surname used as a
given name?

The SAMMON-WALSH/Welsh/Welch connection is interesting -- and long-lived.
Maybe the influence of that California sunshine after they moved from
Cleveland?

Here are all the Surnames associated with this "new" branch of the
King-Moran family:
SAMMON - WALSH/WELSH/WELCH - McGUIRE - HAHN - CAMERON - STRANAHAN - OVIATT -
SMITH - McMANAMON - WEAVER - MORAN

In Ireland, Ohio, and/or California.

Warm regards,
