The memories come pouring back, don't they? There are two topics I
think would make great situation comedies; the Irish neighborhoods of
Cleveland (East and West) pre 1950 and VA veterans Hospitals. The last 6
years of my nursing practice were spent at Wade Park, VA. The old nurses and
Vets had some hilarious stories.
My Grandfather's stories with the very descriptive nicknames (see Condon's
Book) were wonderful. I'm sure he cleaned them up when children were around.
A great old gentleman!
