Mary Ellen,
Good Question. I contacted Villa Angela through their website and asked if
one of the alumni would look up my mother who also attended there. Only
trouble was that I used the name of Margaret Wyman and unknown to me, my
mother was entered into that school under the name of Margaret Masterson.
Sarah Masterson was my mother's aunt, the aunt that raised my mother from
the time she was less than 3 years of age due to the death of her mother.
I recall my mother telling me that she attended that school and how she had
to supply her own soap, etc. I was under the impression that it might have
been a girls boarding school back then. My mother was born in 1909 and I
assumed that she also graduated from that school but have not been able to
verify that.
I sure would like to find out if anyone has year books from that school.
I am sure if you contact them, they would at least let you know about your
relatives. Alice
