Chancey Ford to Heir

This Indenture made this 7th day of May in the Year of our Lord 1832
Between Chancey Ford and Mary his wife, of the County of Muskingum, and
the State of Ohio of the one part and William Ford, of the County of
Muskingum and the State of Ohio of the other part. Witnesseth that the
said part of the first part for and consideration of the sum of Two
Hundred and Eight Dollars, Current money of the United States of America
to us in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and
****acquit and discharge the said part of the second part this thereof.
Execturos and Adminstrators have granted bargained and sold aliened and
confirmed and by these presents to granted bargained sell a lien and
confim unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
forever all the **** (ink smear) tract and parcel of land lying and
being in the county of Licking in ******South East quarter of Section
Four in Township Three and Range *****of the unappropariated thereof in
the Military District sold of *******containing One Hundred and
Fifty-Two acres ********

Quarter Section Excepted having been previously sold to Snuton Lying in
a square on the Eastern North East Corner of said Quarter Township
togethr with all imperciments, water courses, from of Etc. and
appertinences whatsoever to the said premises belonging or in any way
appertaining and the various *****and pr*****thereof and all the Estate
rights titles Interest property claim and devisions of the said party of
the first part of in any the ****to have and to Hold the lands thereby
Ca*****with all and Singular thereon and Every part and present thereof
with E**of the appertnences unto the said part of the second part his
heirs and assigns forever and the said property of the first part for
Our Heirs, Executors and Adminstrators Di Par****premises and agree to
and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns by
these presents that the premises above mentioned now and *forever
herewith shall claims, affairs of and from all forever and other gifts,
grants, bargainings, sales, dowers, right and title of Diverse
Judgements, Extentions, title troubles, claims and understandings
whatsoever done on s****to be done by the said party of the first part
and the said party of the first part and all heirs all land singular the
premises hereby bargained and sold with the appertenances unto the said
part of the second part, his heirs and assigns against the said party of
the first part and their heirs and all and ***person or persons
whomsoever do and will warrant and forever defend by these claimants all
persons whatsoever. Whereof the said party of the first part have

Chancy Ford to Snuston Ford
Know all men to these presents that the Chancey Ford and Mary Ford his
wife, of the County of Muskingum in the State of Ohio for and in
consideration of the sum of Twenty Dollars to me in hand paid by
Snuseton Ford in the County of Muskingum and State of Ohio for and in
consideration of the sum of twenty dolls the receipt whereof we do
hereby acknowldeged have given and also bargained, sold, at****ed,
conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do give, grant, bargain,
sell, alien and confimed unto the said Snuston Ford, his Heirs and
assings forever a certain tract or parcel of land situated in the County
of Licking and State of Ohio it being a part of the South East quart of
Section Four in Twonship Three of Mary's Fountain Viz. Beginning at a
stake on the North East Corner of said Quarter on the Section line and
beginning on said line south forty penches to a stake thense West forty
penches to a stake thens North forty penches to a stake thense North
forty Penches to a stake thense East forty Penches to the place of
beginning containing ten acres in the North East Corner of the said
quarters. To have and to hold the said granted and bargained premises
with all the appurtenances and parcels to the same belonging and in any
unto appertaining to the said Snusetan Ford, his heirs and assigns
forever to, he seem proper use and behoof forever as a part and
indefeasable estate in fee simple. And we the said Chaney Ford and Mary
Ford for ourselves and heirs executors and administrators do
cons*****with the said Snuseton Ford his heirs and assigns that before
and until the sealing and delivery of these presetns we ******lawfully
Seizes in Fax of the above granted and bargained premeises and
appurtenances that we have been good right full payers and lawfull
authority to sell and convey the same to the said Snuston Ford and that
the premises are free from all incomberances whatsoever and that we do
and will ****8and defend the same to the said Snuston Ford, his heirs
and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of all persons
whomsoever . In Witness Whereof and have hereunto set our hand and
Seals the 7th day of March 1832.

The State of Ohio Muskingum County
Before me, a Justice of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid
personally came Chancey Ford and Mary Ford his wife, and sincerely
acknowledged the above deed of conveyance to be their voluntary act and
Deed and the said Mary Ford, wife of the said Chancey Ford being by me
Examined Seperate and appeared from her said husband and the contents of
the said Deed being by me made known to him, she on such examination
declared that she did voluntarily sign, seal and acknowledges the same
and that she is still satisfied therewith and I further certify from
personal acquaintance I am satisfied that the said Chancey Ford
and Mary his wife are the persons they represent themselves to be. In
Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 7 day of May
1832
