Deed Josiah Mongar to Asahel C Page Book 12 page 382 Darke County, Ohio

Know all men that we Josiah Mongar and Elizabeth Mongar wife of Josiah Mongar
in consideration of the sum of sixteen hundred dollars to them paid by Asahel
C Page the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby bargain sell and
convey unto the said Asahel C Page and unto his heirs and assigns forever the
following premises situate in the county of Darke and State of Ohio described
as follow to wit. In Lot number ninety three So 93/in Union City in said
county of Darke and State of Ohio as designated known and numbered on the
plat in Mongar addition of said Town. Together with all the privileges and
appurtenances to the same belonging. To have and to hold the same to the
said Asahel C page to and his heirs and assigns forever. The grantors their
heirs and assigns hereby covenanting with the grantee his heirs and assigns
that the title so conveyed is clear free and unencumbered and that they will
warrant and defent the same against all lawful claims whatsoever.
In testimony whereof the said Josiah Mongar together with Elizabeth Mongar
wife of the said Josiah Mongar who hereby relinquish her right of dower in
said premises hath hereunto set their hands and seals this twentieth of day
of July AD one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine. Executed in presence
of Henry C Mongar, Daniel French, Josiah Mongar, Elizabeth S. Monger.

]Be is remembered that on this twentieth day of July AD 1859 before me Daniel
French a Justice of the peace in and for said county personally came Josiah
Monger and Elizabeth Monger wife of Josiah Mongar the grantors in the above
conveyance and acknowledged the signing and sealing thereof to be their
voluntary act and sell for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. And the
said Elizabeth Mongar wife of the said Josiah Mongar being examined by me
separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of said deed made
known and explained to her by me she then declared that she did voluntarily
sign seal and acknowledge the same and that she is still satisfied therewith.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal on the day and year
above mentioned. Daniel French. Justice of the peace.
