Last Will and Testament - John Hinton 1817

In the name of God amen. I, John Hinton, of Knox County, and State of Ohio,
being week in body but of a sound and perfect mind and memory blessed by
almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last will and
testement in manor and form following. That is to say firstly I want the
property on the farm consisting of stock (except one horse and one cow) to
be sold to the best advantage and the proceeds there of to go in payment for
the farm and my wife is to have and to hold the farm with the appurtanence
until her decease. Then the farm is to be divided between George and Thomas
Hinton, my two sons, and they are to pay or cause to be payed onto Mary and
Melinda Hinton, my two youngest daughters, fifty dollars each at the decease
of their mother. Then I hereby appoint Joseph Jennings my sole executor of
this my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand seal this 16th day of
September 1817. Signed, sealed, published, and declared by the above named
John Hinton to be his last will and testament in the presents of us who have
hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the testaotr.
