MICHAEL GANTZ'S WILL filed March 4 1864
Proceedings before the Probate Court of Miami County,Ohio on the 4th
day of March 1864. Be it remembered that before this to wit on the 4th day
of March 1864, the last will and testament of Michael Gants late of Miami
County Ohio deceased was filed in the offices of the judge of the Probate
Court of said county and State of Ohio proved and the Will and Testimony
ordered to be recorded which Will and Testimony is as follows:
In the name of the ? ? of all I Michael Gantz of the county of Miami of the
state of Ohio do make and publish this my last will and testament.
Item 1st-I give and ?dcoise? to my beloved wife the use of my farm on which
we now reside. Situated in Bethel Township in said county and state
aforesaid together with all my personal property so long as she lives in
case she remains my widow. Item 2nd-After my death I give and bequeath to
my grandchild Mahala Bustlow Arnold one hundred dollars out of my
estate.Item 3rd-after my decease and the above one hundred dollars is paid
to my granddaughter Mahala Bastlow Arnold as provided for in the 2nd Item of
this my last will and testament I give and bequeath all of my entire Estate
both real and personal to my heirs as equal portions. But there is to be no
division of my Estate as above ? until the decease of my beloved wife in
case she survives me. Item 4th- I do hereby revoke all former wills by me
made. In testimony hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this
twenty-second day of July in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and sixty-one.
Signed and aknowledged by said Michael Gantz as his last Will and Testimony
in our presence and signed by us in his presence
