The following will abstract was found in the book "Gateway to the West" by
Bowers and Short, pg 283. It reads:

Clinton County, Ohio Will Abstract 1822-1828

DALE, John - dated 8-20-1821; recorded (not given 1823). Wife, Eleanor,
children: Elizabeth, Margaret, James, Daniel, Nancy, Ebenezer, Anna and
John; last four not of age and mentions that son Daniel is now away from
home. Mentions money in Redstone Country on waters of the Monongahela in
Fayette County, Pennsylvania. Mentions lot in town of Paris, Clinton County.
Exec: wife, Eleanor, and son, James. Signed: John (his mark) Dale. Wit:
