Subject: [OH-FOOT] Will of Henry Taylor
Date: Tue, 22 Oct 2002 05:13:11 -0400
Last week while in the County Surrogate's Office looking for a Taylor
will, I happened to come across a will for a Henry Taylor who was in The
Old Soldiers Home in Dayton, Ohio. It states that his wife was Jane and
his son, John, was executor. It was made on Oct 5, 1900. He had many
small properties in NJ. He listed among his property a cemetery plot
which was here in NJ. So far I cannot connect this Henry with my
Taylor's, but eventually I'm sure I will. (This was a place that had a
Taylortown and has a Taylor Street and still has a gazillion Taylors!)
The problem being most were named "William, Henry, or John". Many were
named William Henry, too. I haven't found any John Henry's yet but I'm
sure they're there!
If you feel that this man is your ancestor, please contact me.
