A terrible calamity occurred near Brownville, Ohio, just south of Bellaire, last Thursday. During a heavy rain storm Thomas Stacy and two sons took refuge under a large tree. Lightning struck the tree, killing the father and younger son instantly and stunning the other boy so that he did not recover consciousness for some time, and then he was horror-stricken to find his father and brother dead, their clothes literally torn to shreds, but their bodies apparently not hurt.
