MICHAEL WELTON
Michael Welton died at his home on Washington Street on Sunday at 3:30
a. m. aged 88 years. He had been in failing health for some time
following a stroke on Sunday week ago. He was born in Ireland, and
had lived here for five years. He was a Civil War Veteran. He was
married to Ellen Fox, who survives with these children: Mrs. Mary
Nolan of Kensington, Ohio; Robert of Cleveland; Mrs. Ellen Meek of
Wheeling; Mrs. Kate Burrier, of Bridgeport; James of Wheeling: David
of Pittsburg; and Mrs. Hannah Wagner of Toledo. His remains were
taken to Bellaire today for interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
