Minnie Belle Grizzle Boyd was born April 29, 1882 in Artrip, Russell Co.
Virginia to Solomon and Universal Grizzle. She met her husband when he was
working on a rail road bridge near her home. Charles Bunyan Boyd was the son
of John Lewis Boyd and Jacintha Catherine Remines Boyd. Minnie and Charles
married in Russell Co. Virginia. Minnie knew how to live off the land like a
true pioneer. She died Oct. 7, 1962 and is buried at Mt. Joy Christian Church
Cemetery in Rarden Twp. Scioto Co. Ohio. They owned a large farm which sat in
both Pike and Scioto Co. Ohio.
