Runner's Energy Bars
1 60oz. pkg. choclate or peanut butter pieces
2 T. peanut butter
1/4 C. wheat germ
3/4 C. uncooked quick rolled oats
1/2 C. flaked coconut
1/2 C. finely snipped pitted dates, dried apricots or raisins.
Shape quickly with buttered hands into 8 bars, about 3" long. Wrap each bar in plastic wrap. Refrigerate until firm. Makes 8 bars.
