I can imagine it! The part I wonder about is "Is Columbus prepared to
handle it?" ROFLMAO!!!!!
Just talking about it has sure been a party for all of us. It sure doesn't
take a lot to entertain all of us quiet, laid-back souls, does it? LOL!
Right now, I'm trying to survive the gun deer season. It goes until the end
of the month and I'm not sure what's going to give out first, the month or
me. <GRIN> I've had five big, strapping hunters here since Monday night and
I'm getting too pooped to participate. Of course, that doesn't count the
drop-ins who come to share their stories. My coffee pot is about as
exhausted as I am. It seems that my day is full of making coffee, cooking,
doing dishes and sweeping up the mud that gets tracked in. Then, I GET the
privilege of cooking for Thanksgiving, too! Now, ain't that just
"wunnerful"? <LAUGHTER>
One of the hunters is 19 and he got his first deer, yesterday. It had a
monster-sized rack. He was soooooo excited and appreciative that we'd let
him hunt here! You know what? That made all the work worth it. He's had a
very difficult childhood and we've been trying to help him get some
self-esteem built up and off to a good start in life. Andy's been "big
brother" and it's been a very good thing for everybody.
Ya know what? We sure have a lot to be thankful for, especially this year.
I'm so thankful for all my dear friends in Maggieville. They've kept me
sane when I thought I'd lose my mind. THANK YOU, MY FRIENDS!!!
Linda
Sounds good to me! I think it would be great! Can you imagine a
Maggieville Reunion.
Sandi
Live in such a way that those who know you but don’t know God will come to
know God because they know you.
