Will take a little research. Can you in the meantime look for some information on a Maria Angelica Schmackers born Sept 12, 1828, Hanover, Germany. Daughter of Gerhard Henry Schmackers of abt 1803 or 1811 and Gesina ?? I have data of familys from Emsburen and Oldenburg. Maria left Bremerhaven on Sunday 8 am 30th October 1853 on the ship New England for Slaughterhouse Point New Orleans, Amerika. Arrived Dec 27, 1853. Passenger # 17 ISTG.
First question. Have you found any changes in the spelling of their name? 2nd, Where did you get the names you already have? I will have to go to a library and physically look at some older phone books and or tax and title land listings as these names do not appear on the phone book listings.
Later on, how familiar are you with Paris?
