John G. CARTER, (b. 1791, Hagerstown, Maryland) and wife, Ruth (HAGER) CARTER (b. Sept 11, 1798, Hagerstown, MD) were on the 1820 and 1830 census, living in Washington twp., Miami co., OH...I believe they settled there in about 1812 coming from Maryland with John's father, Bennett CARTER and some of Ruth's HAGER kinfolk.


I cannot find anything about these families anywhere...are there any very early records someone can tell me about. I would like to know more about these people than just their names and dates.
