My brother-in-law always went by the nickname 'Lash', but he was short and
stubby, didn't look at all like Lash LaRue. A few weeks ago, at Kenton,
OH., they had a Gene Autry festival, with a contest for old time cowboy
look-alikes, and there was a fellow who genuinely looked like Lash LaRue.
