I'm looking for photos of the Wright Brothers Retail Bicycle Shop in DOWNTOWN Dayton, 1895, 23 W. Second Street and info/sketches of the first Public Market House in 1816 on 2nd Street between Main and Jefferson Streets. I am a retired librarian from Dayton Metro Library and work as a substitute librarian in the library's Local History Room. I have gathered some info on the above two subjects from that collection but need a bit more. I am using this info for the Gem City Circle Walking Tour of Historic Downtown Dayton I am conducting Oct. 6 and 7 and Nov. 3 and 4, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. with lunch stop, rest stops and time to savor memories. Any other info on downtown appreciated for use in the walk. I have the theaters, department stores, restaurants, Arcade, Courthouse pretty well covered but would welcome any additional photos and info. I'll give you credit during the walk for any info used.
