Hi, New to the list and genealogy and need a little direction in Adams County.
I am researching the Hazelbakers in Adams county. My ancestor Peter came to
America as a Hessian soldier from Ansbach - stayed here married (in PA.) had
six sons and some of them moved to Adams Co. William W. Hazelbaker was a life
long resident of Adams Co. and lived in West Union. He died at Adams Co.
Hospital; his wife's name was Icy. I don't know what year this was; the
newspaper obit gives no date. He was buried in May Hill cemetery. If anyone
can tell me what kind of records are available for Adams Co.

If anyone else is looking for information on the Hazelbakers I have a fair
amount of data to share. My G Grandmother Anna Laura was born in Adams Co but
moved to Iowa when she was about a year old.

If someone can point me in the right direction I can pick it up from there.
