I am seeking more information on Artemas COOPER, who was born 7 Nov 1819
in Wheatview, Adams Co OH. Jacob STRONG was a relative. Who were Artemas
COOPER's parents? Did he marry in Adams Co? Due to the rare given name
"Artemas", there might be a connection to William COOPER, who was born
about 1822 in MA or CT, married Martha Ann BARNEY 6 May 1846 in Greenup
Co KY, and named his second son Artemas. This Artemas COOPER was born 25
Jun 1847. I am searching for the parents of William COOPER through
research of the COOPERs who lived in the Ohio River Valley between 1800
and 1850. Thank you for your help!
