Dear Adams County, Ohio Researchers,

About 1818, Parker COOPER and his wife Sally STRONG arrived in Adams
County, Ohio from West View, Olmsted Township, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
They had three children born in Cuyahoga County: Louisa, b.1812;
Pamelia, b.1813; and Jane, b.1817.

Artemas COOPER was their first child born in Adams County, on 7 Nov
1819. According to the IGI entry for Artemas COOPER, Artemas was born in
"Wheatview", Adams County, Ohio. Where was "Wheatview"? Was it
present-day Wheat Ridge?

Parker COOPER and Sally STRONG had five more children born to them after
Artemas, making nine children in all. The remaining five were: Curtiss,
b.1821; John, b.1823; Charles, b.1826; Nancy, b.1829; and Earl, b.1836.
Charles was the last one that I have confirmed that was born in
Wheatview, Adams County, Ohio. Nancy and Earl might have been born
elsewhere.

Do you have more information on Parker COOPER, Sally STRONG or their
nine children? They lived in Adams County, Ohio from about 1818 to at
least 1826, if not longer. Thank you for your help, and I look forward
to hearing from you.
