I cannot believe that there is finally some one that is actually interested
in the Collier family from Adams County, Ohio. I am so glad you answered my
query. Maybe we can stir up some interest from others and help make our
research more exciting especially when you have someone to share information
with.

I am researching the Daniel Boone Collier who was born January 10, 1836. He
was the son of Michael Collier and Hannah Lee. Daniel Boone Collier married
Naoma Jane Marvin who was born 12 May 1836 in Ohio. She was the daughter of
Ira Marvin and Rebecca Monroe. Believe Monroe was not her maiden name.
Daniel Boone Collier and Naoma Jane (Marvin) Collier left Adams County, OH and
settled in Lincoln County, Oklahoma.

Known children of Daniel Boone Collier and Noama Jane Marvin:

Franklin P. Collier born 10 Jun 1861
William B. born 31 October 1862
Rebecca Adeline born 15 Feb 1865 married ? McCarthy
Dennis Lee born 14 Sep 1866
Hannah M. born 20 Apr 1869 married Shelby Stockton
Daniel Wheeler born 28 Feb 1872 married Dora Bell Murlin
Margaret Frances born 9 Mar 1874
Thomas Ira born 10 Oct 1878
Sara Bell born 2 Dec 1875
Sophie Ann died as a child.

I show that Michael Collier, father of Daniel Boone Collier married Hannah
Lee on 16 Aug 1826. Known children:

Sara Bell Collier married William Fields
Harriett Collier married ? Hayslip
Mary Ann Collier married Daniel Collier (her first cousin
