I live 50+ miles from Blue Creek,though on the same RT 125 that passes
thru the hamlet,but does not follow the creek ,which is n-s. Most lands
east are very hilly,and state park. If there was an 1870 settlement, I
would say it had nothing to do with CONRAD COOK, and all to do with cheap
hunting lands.Roy Rogers spent a couple young years up 1 hollow. Blue
creek had settlers 17-18 years before CONRAD cook. list owner Sllewis
lived 7 miles nne bluecreek.
