Thank you so much for your census info. I don't think this is the Mary
Thompson I'm looking for because she had one of her sons in 1871 which
would have been when Mary was 13 years old? I thought for sure that this
may have been her because of the locations you mentioned. One of Mary Thompson's
sons (James Evans) is buried in Brush Creek Cemetery, and the other (Wayne
Evans) is buried in Locust Grove.
I will save the info you sent and pursue more info. This could be her but
I'll need to look a little further. Again, Thank you for your efforts and
time. This may be another piece of my genealogy puzzle.
If you happen to have access to any other census info, I have been looking
for where my grandmother, Nola May (Martin) Evans was born in 5/2/1898
- parents were John and Ollie (Gillett) Martin. Her death certificate just
states "Ohio". My grandfather, Jeston Evans, was born in West Union, (Adams
County). I have sent for info through the LDS archives but was unsuccessfull.
Thanks again, Linda Cyburt
