Surname: Boone, Boon, Blythe, Cooper, DeHart, Rudmond
-------------------------

The marriage you refer to is that of my 2nd great grandparents, Nathaniel
Blythe and Indiana Boone. I can see how you would get Indian woman out
of her name. She was often refered to in the records as India Ann, Indus,
Indan. I have her parentage well documented as being the daughter of John
Boone & Margaret Cooper. John was the son of Jacob & Mary DeHart Boone
of Maysville, KY and Margaret was the daughter of William & Elizabeth Rudmond
Cooper of Brown County, OH. The Coopers were originally from NJ and the
Boones from PA. Indiana was named after her 1st cousin, Indiana Boone daughter
of Daniel Boone and Mary "Cloe" Wallingford. Daniel and John were brothers,
both living in Adams Co., at one time. John's father Jacob, and the pioneer
Daniel Boone were cousins, and at one time laid out the town of Limestone
now Maysville together and also ran a tavern together in same.

We do have a lot of Native American blood in our lines, but in this case
I see no evidence of it. However, the Blythe line is another matter. It
has been very hard to document this line and I strongly suspect that there
is more than a smattering of Native Amereican blood in it.
