I am searching for any information on the Thornburg family in Adams and Scioto Counties, Ohio. I am particularly interested in the marriage of John Thornburg
to Rebecca ? , in Adams Co. Ohio. Rebecca (born,17, January 1819 Ohio-died 17, December 1888) is buried in a cemetery somewhere in Oliver Twp., Adams Co., Ohio. Like to find her maiden name and marriage date. I have searched for years for the parents of our Malinda Thornburg who married William Smith Dement and thought perhaps I might determine their identity through a sibling. If John is a sibling of Malinda's!!!!!

Rebecca Thornburg 61yr. " " " sis.in law
William " 5yr. grandson

The Dement's and Mahaffey's intermarried with the Thornburg's but I can't seem to "untangle" the group. Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
