Melvina "Mel" THOMPSON is listed on the 1880 Adams Co., Jefferson Twp. Oh. census as age 50 with son William age 13 in household. I believe her age to be incorrect as she was about 51 years old in 1870. Seeking info. on Melvina (RAWLINS/ROLLINS ) who was born, ca.1818 Lawrence Co., Ohio and married Joseph THOMPSON in 1836 in Lawrence Co., Ohio. She is on the 1870 census in Lawrence Co., Decatur Twp. with a son Jack age 31, appearing as head of household and her younger children: Henderson age 21; Philora age 19; Laura age 10; Mark age 7 and William age 3, all born Ohio. This Jack THOMPSON is also listed in his own household with a wife Elizabella and three daughters, Melvina age 5; Mary age 3 and Lucinda age 1, all born Ohio.
Sometime after the 1870 census and before the 1880 census Melvina THOMPSON moved from Lawrnece Co. to Adams Co., Ohio. I would like to find when and where Melvina and her husband Joseph died and who her children married and what became of them. Any descendants out there? I would love to here from you. I have info. on the RAWLINS/ROLLINS side and willing to share. Judi in Indiana
