The Samuel McCLUNG I show was 75 years old on the 1860 census. He was living with Milton K. McCLANAHAN family. Milton was married to Mary A. McCLUNG so I just thought this might be her father. He was born in Ireland. My husband's branch of the McCLANANAHAN goes like:

John Baxter McClanahan 1801-1884 mar. Pheobe Elizabeth Kincaid
Milton Kincaid McClanahan 1828-? mar. Mary A. McClung, all of Adams County. I still haven't had any luck in finding their graves, but have been given information on burial sites of several of John and Elizabeth's children.
