HI, dont know if any of this will help but, My Grandmother was a Riley from Lewis county Kentucky wich is right acrossed the river from Adams county. some of my family wound up in Adams county (Carrington).I know that my Grandmothers brother,John Riley, lived in Portsmouth, Ohio about 1951 wich is Scioto county lying next to Adams on the Ohio River.I am not sure if she had a brother James ,probally a relative.My family is of American Indian decent,My great -grandmother was born Nancy Jane Sparks,she married Amos Riley.His mother or grandmother was Easter Gormon, Riley,
