I have some knowledge of the McCoy family who settled in Mifflin Township,
Pike Co. OH
The father was Abraham McCoy..The son I know most about was Thomas McCoy who
married "Caty" Jordan Sept.4, 1818 in Adams Co, OH Their children, all born
in Pike Co. were: John, Abraham, Jane, James, Julia Ann, Sarah L., Thomas. My
knowledge of this family is due to the fact I am tracing the early Jordans in
Adams/Brown Co....specifically Jane Jordan who married William Marshall,
Richard Jordan who married Peggy Maxwell, Martha Jordan who married Stephen Wright
and Caty who married Thomas McCoy. I believe that they are all children of
the "Caty Jordan, widow" who married Samuel Milligan. Does anyone know more
about the "Caty Jordan, widow"? Debbie Harrison, Terrebonne, Oregon
