I have their family history from 1870 onward in Missouri, but I am seeking John Ellis birth place in Ohio. The census may state Germany on one census and Ohio on another. John always said he was born in Ohio and his parents were immigrants from Germany. However, I do not know where the family lived in Ohio, or when he migrated to Missouri before 1870. Thank you
