Hi list, I haven't posted for a while but got a good reply & help to an 1840 census look-up couple of weeks ago, here I am again, looking for more info. Samuel and John Serrels both live in Allen county before their township was incorporated into Auglaize county in 1848, I'm looking for their children, does anyone have an old birth record book for Allen county from before 1840? Samuel was married to Isabella maiden name unknown and they had at least 4 kids, I've found them with small variant spellings ex: Serrel, Searles etc. I don't know who John Serrels was married to but he had children before 1840 as well. Could someone PLEASE look up and SERRELS or variant spelling children for me from before & after 1840. Would be most interested in a Mary Jane b. abt 1830 but would take any, also looking for an Essa or Essamarilits born about 1857.
